travel europe france the south of france les baux de provence le mas d'aigret

We arrived in early December, late in the evening and, late in our trip, when we were low on Francs.
We decided to use our credit cards to splurge for rooms at a highly rated historic old auberge, farmhouse inn, that we had read about.
Everything in the area seemed to be closed for the season, but the British owner of the inn must have seen how tired we were for he gave us good deal on rooms.
We opted to take the all inclusive plan which included dinner... a fantastic multi-course dinner at the inn's intimate diningroom
with it's famous ceiling formed by a huge slab or rock. We had a good meal capped off with a huge selection of French cheeses for desert.
Since we were there, the ownership has changed.
